About Us
GON was founded in the Netherlands and is increasingly active internationally. We are organized into two branches: an Advisory branch, offering strategic advisory services and practical solutions, and a Didactic branch, delivering educational programs and corporate training. We work on a wide range of projects for diverse clients, with historically a focus on large financial organizations.
We particularly have a strong intuitive ability to detect and understand real-world developments and inflection points at an early stage, translating these insights into strategy, practical solutions, and educational content.
More background
Our framework Model Thinking, which we will briefly discuss in the first talk, offers an important basis for properly understanding what strategy truly entails. The works of Sun Tzu and Carl von Clausewitz provide frameworks and concepts for building adequate strategic models in today’s world, increasingly shaped by global competition and conflict. This talk builds a bridge between these two worlds.
Our lecturers
Yusuf
Has an educational background in mathematics, physics, and actuarial sciences. As one of the founders of GON, he has worked as a (quantitative) consultant on a wide variety of projects, with a strong focus on delivering end-to-end solutions and building and validating quantitative models. At a personal level, he has a passion for education, sports, and tea.
Kasia
Dr. Katarzyna Młodzikowska-Pieńko is a medical and scientific consultant and lecturer with a background in pharmaceutical sciences and computational chemistry. She holds a doctorate from the University of Warsaw and, with over a decade of experience—gained during international fellowships—she specializes in translating complex biomedical evidence into practical, science-based strategies for organizational health risk management.
